Construction of the Core Collection of Catalpa fargesii f. duclouxii (Huangxinzimu) Based on Molecular Markers and Phenotypic Traits

To promote the conservation and utilization of Catalpa fargesii f. duclouxii (Huangxinzimu) germplasm resources, a total 252 accessions were used to construct preliminary core collection according phenotypic traits single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) markers. In this study, 24 traits, namely, 9 quantitative 15 qualitative investigated. The C. was constructed remove redundant samples from collected materials. First, collection, with sample proportion 30, consisting clones, two genetic distances (Euclidean distance Mahalanobis), four system clustering methods (the unweighted pair-group average method, Ward’s complete linkage method), three sampling (random sampling, deviation preferred sampling). best construction strategies selected for further comparison. Three collections (D2C3S3-30, D2C3S3-50, D2C3S3-70) optimal strategy at proportions. D2C3S3-30 parameters evaluated by using six parameters: mean difference percentage (MD), variance (VD), periodic rate range (CR), changeable coefficient variation (VR), minimum change (CRMIN), maximum (CRMAX). (M-30, M-50, M-70) molecular markers, M-30 five parameters, Ho, He, PIC, MAF, loci. combination final DM-45, 45 representing variability. combined markers effectively capture entire trait variation, original providing basis (Huangxinzimu).
